This is Gloria, she is an rescue from Aldi grocery store. She was the last one left and dying. I followed repotting directions, watering and fertilizer instructions but her leaves continued to wilt, new growth stopped, and root rot set it through out the middle of all her stems. When I removed all the root rot I found what looks like still healthy root and the bulb looks good (I think) I really don’t want to give up on her, but I think I’m in over my head and would love some advice. I have soaked her in hydrogen peroxide for an hour and now have her resting in a shallow pot of water for the roots.

Oof… best of luck to you… I just went thru this with a Cat Palm that I didn’t realize was sitting in standing water. Cut like 90% of the roots out trying to save it. Mine didn’t make it. I put it in 50% hydrogen peroxide in a jar & it just kept rotting. Maybe set it in the sun & let it dry out a little? — sorry I don’t have a good answer.

Another idea: give it one more dose of hydrogen peroxide, plant it in dry soil & set it in the sun, then water it with 50% hydrogen peroxide…?
