does anyone have advice for my drooping/browning leaves on my fiddle fig? i think he’s not getting enough light since i only have a north facing window. i had a grow light on him all day yesterday but i have no idea how often he needs it. Also, I try to keep the soil a bit moist at all times.

FLF don’t generally like to sit in moist soil for long, this drooping looks like overwatering/impending root rot, IMO. In my experience, mine likes to dry out completely between watering! Interested to see what others think, though.

They can be pretty finicky IMO.. mine does not sit close to a window and I also let mine dry out between watering.. It does get a lot of indirect light ..

I have ADHD when it comes to my plant care so sometimes I take really good care of them and sometimes I completely neglected. Mine is so freaking dry, but I have found that he’s happier when I completely ignore him and now I’m afraid of overwatering and I’m not really sure how to rehydrate him slowly and how to fertilize if I water him now after a really long drought, is it gonna be too much shock, or should I just water him and then next round I’ll add fertilizer? I completely second Laura’s comment about under watering them more! They do not like to sit in a diaper

I would def ensure he’s getting proper light- that will be a game changer. I’d keep the grow light on it 12 hours per day. I water mine when it’s dry half way down and thrives. 🌿

In addition to what other people have said: too high of mineral content in your water can cause the brown edges. Try watering with filtered water & it shouldn’t develop more. — another tactic is to let your water sit out before watering, but I never have the foresight for that so I just used filtered.
