Hi everyone. I’m new to planting and need some help with my Red Aglaonema. I bought it back on 10/5 and repotted it into 2 plants. However, I’m noticing the leaves are lightening & yellowing on one of them. I’ve only watered it twice and have used a moisture meter with time in between. Does anyone know what this may be or what I need to do.

It looks like the plant just went through some shock from being repotted! It’s okay, it’s normal for a plant to shed a leave or two after a repotting. Plenty of light and some fertilizer when you water will help!

Thank you, Makenna! Do you have a fertilizer that you recommend?

Sounds like MaKenna is right losing a couple of leaves is nothing to worry about. She looks really healthy to me.

I find that older leaves often yellow and droop over on my aglaonemas, i just chop them off. These plants can go a long time without water too, so I would err on the side of underwatering.
