Big Apple Plants

It might not be super obvious in this picture but 1/4 stems my Money Tree has, the one pictured in the front of the plant is very soft and bubbled up. According to some quick research it is due to overwatering but I’ve been following recommendations Plantar has given me. Can I still save this Money Tree by cutting the only stem that is rotting?

Sometimes you have to double check the soil to make sure it is completely dry and ignore planta🙄 I skip the task for 2 days as much as I need to until dry. A soft stalk does indicate overwatering.
