Help…. is this scale or part of the tree and can I save him? I read scales should easily scrape off with your fingernail and squish like a bug. None of these scrape off easy nor do they squish like a bug. I’m so confused cause of it. He was beautiful a few weeks ago and now his new leaves are growing wonkey and he’s recently lost a lot of them plus I snipped off some of the really bad ones just Incase they were scale. Any help is appreciated.
