My elephant ear plant has started dramatically dropping in the last 2 days. What’s going on??? I repotted it a couple of weeks ago but it’s been standing straight and doing great until now 😑

Mine does that when I go too long between waterings

Good to know. Maybe I need to water more often I just always get nervous to over water.

As long as you let the water drain appropriately and don’t let the roots sit in water, you should be ok. They like a chunky, well-draining soil, but this type of soil can also mean watering a little more often, since this type of soil doesn’t retain much water. Think of the rainforest; frequent showers, but it disappears as quickly. Good luck! 🪴

Alocasia like to stay moist, so you can get away with it a little bit easier than most other tropical houseplants

This is an Alocasia hybrid very different from elephant ear
