Anyone ever successfully rid their plant(s) of spider mites? My ponytail palm looks like it likely has spider mites. It sat too close to another plant that had them a while back, so I isolated it just in case and I just started to see some thin, delicate webs. We’ve generally just thrown away our plants that we see that on, but I really like this plant. My current thoughts are neem oil & humidity, but that’s about it.

Humidity won’t eliminate spider mites. Neem oil and soapy dishwater applied repeatedly are effective. Apply it to the entire plant including under the leaves, under the pot, on top of the soil and the area surrounding the plant. Apply it to all the plants in the room because the mites spread fast. Apply once a week until they are gone. Wash hands thoroughly after handling an infected plant to avoid spreading it. Good luck🍀

Ensure the solution is soaked into the creases at the base of the palm fronds. I’ve had ants hide in my ponytail palm that lives on my patio. It may be easier to dunk leaves in a bucket of soapy water if the plant is small enough.

Shower. Spray. Every 2-3 days about 4-5 times resolved my spider mite vs pony tail palm fiasco. Also the YouTuber - Aloha Plant Life - her video on Spider Mites was helpful.
