poor girl is on the brink of death. she had 3 new leaves for the first time this growing season. one more is on the way. Any idea why they’re so shriveled? I have them on a north facing porch but she is in the shadiest area. The humidity outside caused her to have more growth, but how do i stop the shriveling? I have tried tropical plant food, bottom watering with distilled water, and I repotted her for the 1st time a while ago.

She’ll be okay I think.. check for root rot.. and cut away the dead stuff, maybe she’ll bounce back to health!

Consider empiric pest treatment, in particular spider mites (unless you find some other baddie to target)

Mine is so temperamental! Truly if I move her she will shrivel. She did wonderfully in my humidity cabinet though. Lots of light lots of humidity

Did you check for pests? I would run isopropyl alcohol on the leaves and petioles with a small brush. Then maybe a wash with soapy water.
