Any ideas if this could be a pest. I’ve looked at it under a magnifying glass, no head or legs visible, not moving. Could it just be a piece of moss or something I need to treat?

    That happened to me once and it turned out to be pieces of toilet paper because that's how I used to clean my leaves so if you do that it could be that.

    Could be sphagnum moss. Some came as packing material around the soil of a plant I bought online. I unpacked and cleaned out the moss. I found tiny wings on the leaves of the little plant that triggered an alarm. Found out later it was probably wing shaped bits of moss. I’m changing out the soil to ease my anxiety the next time I clean the leaves. 😂
