Help? The leaves at the bottom of my echeveria keep dying (is this normal?). The soil had fuzzy mold at the top a while ago but I took it off and put cinnamon on it. Now the leaves at the bottom are dying and the soil has become very compacted (probably unrelated?). Do the dying leaves have to do with the cinnamon/mold and should I be worried about root rot?

It doesn’t look like root rot unless the roots are mushy and stinky. The dead leaves could just be old leaves dying off. The other leaves look good. Nothing obvious. Cinnamon won’t hurt the plant. It’s just ground tree bark that contains natural oils. Take a wait and see attitude.

You need to repot it! Also I had this problem with my echeveria Fabiola!
