I’ve had this corn plant for almost a year and it hasn’t grown an inch. It’s deep green but has curling leaves and brown tips. Does anyone have any insights on how to encourage growth?

Cinnamon helps stimulate root growth :)

My corn plant grows like a weed, I simply feed it and have it in a window so maybe it’s a light or food issue

Thank you! What kind of soil do you use? How often do you water it?

I just use chunky houseplant mix from miracle gro and water when planta tells me to… not very often at all. Maybe every few weeks

I would move it to brighter light, as suggested, or add a grow light to see if it improves. I would change the soil. It may be holding water too long and causing the brown leaves.

It’s a compact dragon tree! They are pretty slow growing (about 4 inches a year in ideal conditions. They prefer part sun but will be ok in lower light levels. They are very sensitive to minerals/chemicals in their water so using rainwater is best (or distilled). They can handle average humidity levels but would do better with higher ones. And they like to dry out almost completely between waterings! Hope this helps! Here’s my little guy btw! I rescued him from the supermarket.

Wow I just posted a photo of mine. She is 4 years old and curling leaves and brown spots. We moved to FL a few months ago. Maybe the water here she doesn’t like. I will buy bottled and see if that helps. Thank you 😊

I would move it to light and make sure to water it. How you tried any type of scent the plant is known to like?
