hi! recently repotted my philodeneron that had mold in its soil that was affecting it! the new soil is from miracle grow. recently these strands have been yellowing over the past week and i’m not sure what to do! do i cut these? are these worth salvaging? is the whole plant at risk? what can i do to better the health of the whole plant and prevent other strands from yellowing?

Looks like overwatering for the leaves to continuously look wilted and yellow. That container may have an issue with drainage. I recommend removing the plant. Check for root rot (mushy smelly roots). Remove all damaged roots, if any. Rinse with peroxide. Replace the soil. Place in a plastic, well draining, pot a little larger than the root ball. Plastic pots are easier to remove to check the roots. You may have to cut back the vines. Place in bright indirect light. Water when the soil dries out an inch or more. Good luck 🍀

hi, agree with the above. also, don’t listen to Planta (pothos can withstand drought so let it dry out - a little in between waterings). if that doesn’t work, don’t give up on it! same happened to me. you can clippings to propagate in water and then repot once you get some roots. a little patience and oxygen (via water changes) goes a long way! good luck!
