Could I get some advice please? I recently had fruit-fly looking bugs in the soil of all my indoor plants. So I have repotted them all with my all purpose potting soil bought from amazon 🙃 I used this potting soil before for other indoors plants and they seemed to LOVE it!! However, this beauty is struggling for some reason and I can’t tell why 😔 I’m not even sure how much she’s struggling as she’s got new leaves coming up at the same time (the very long one at the top middle is very new) So my questions are: Why do you think the leaves are yellowing? (I already cut out 2-3 yellow leaves 2 days ago) Is my plant dying or just in shock from the repotting? / how can I reduce stress on it?

This may sound weird, but I have the same plant and I was having the same problem and I put some wooden match sticks with the sulfur part in the soil for a couple of weeks and it helped my plant and it’s thriving now.

I’ll give this a try - how long after you put in the matchsticks do you think you started seeing the change?

My guess would be overwatering, which also explains the flies. They loooove damp environments and will thrive in soil that stays wet for too long. You can find fly traps on Amazon for cheap and they work incredibly well!
