I cut this off my snake plant. It is the second leaf that has oozed like this. It seems to be very slow growing as the last one was a few weeks ago. What should I do?

It could be getting too much moisture. Snake plants thrive on neglect. Let it dry out between waterings. I use a moisture meter to tell when the soil is dry. If you’re using a plastic planter, it could help to switch to terracotta or ceramic with good drainage. Soil can also make the difference. I use the miracle gro cactus and succulent soil, but I mix in sand and extra perlite for added drainage. Miracle gro soil alone tends to hold a lot of water.
