My fiddle fig started growing like crazy this spring after moving it to a different room with more light! It has windows facing East and South/South West, and gets sun all day. The top half of the plant recently started bending over, and it dropped a few lower leaves. I noticed the bottom half of the trunk is brown (as are the stems to the leaves) and the top trunk/stems are green. Any idea what is going on / how to fix it?
Is this area lower light than your last area? It looks like your plant is reaching for more light.
1 gilla These plants tend to like bright light. Mostly indirect, but a little morning sun is OK and shouldn’t cause anything to burn or dry out.
1 gilla It’s higher light actually (I have a shade closed to my right so it looks dark)! And I rotate the plant every time I water

1 gilla No problem. Any plant can be finicky. Once it finds the right environment. I just try to mimick that. You could try a halo grow light to put over it or a lamp if you wanna keep it in that corner
