I got this Silver Fittonia a few months back and I’m noticing these little white ā€œwebā€ type things. Does anyone what these are and how to treat them? Thanks!

Did it have these when you got it? It looks normal to me. I don’t know nerve plants well but some stems do when texture like this!

I don’t remember seeing anything like that on it. I was just worried that it might be something because it’s kind of separate from the stem, thanks for your input!

Could be mealy bugs. Dab them with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to see if they die.

If you are talking about the white fur/fuzz on the petioles, this is part of the normal make up of the plant. As plants mature, they can take on characteristics it may not have had as a juvenile form plant. Fuzz like this on petioles of plants is typically evolved to absorb moisture/humidity from the air. Some philodendrons have this feature too! But the white blob sac looking thing may be a mealy bug egg sac. So get rid of that.
