someone. ANYONE. my neighbor gave me this birds of paradise and i haven’t repotted yet..i water when the app tells me to. leafs are very much curling. WHAT do i do?! 😂😭 i bought liquid plant feed as well. only have used it once the last time i watered.
The two new leaves look great. The plant will be fine. I would keep the biggest leaf and the new growth. I would cut off the other damaged leaves to send more energy to produce and support new leaves. Give it bright light. They can take direct sun. They like higher humidity. Water and fertilize as directed reducing fertilizer in the winter months. Good luck. 🍀

i would also suggest switching this soil to an aroid mix. chunkier mixes will help these plants drain and not trap excess water.

Leaves on my BOD are also curling since I got it in July. Even though this plant loves sun, I noticed that with too much direct sun leaves start to curl more.
