Should I repot my silver sword? I just noticed that there is a root coming through one of the drainage holes. It’s doing really well so I’m hesitant to repot if it’s not needed.

I think that it can go longer without repotting. I can’t see loads of roots crowding at the bottom. The odd rogue root coming out of a hole is fine :)

I agree it’s not showing any signs of major distress so you could get away with a few more days !!

Thank you both! How long do you think I can go without repotting — until the roots are much more visible?

I’d say 3-5 days but ultimately you know the growth better than anyone, I would change pots by atleast the end of the month latest.

The roots grow towards the bottom because they are following the water! This looks like it is not root bound at this time!
