hi! can’t quite place the issue here- not over or under watered. i even keep her by a humidifier (when my central air is on). when i brought her home in late May, i noticed pests so i repotted and pruned her. she’s been fine but within the last couple of weeks i noticed yellowing and i just noticed she’s oozing sap. i cleaned her with alcohol/neem. added pics for closer inspection if that’s helpful. anyone had similar issues? if so, is it worth the maintenance? appreciate any response. thanks

Is this a cat palm?? I’m having these exact same issues. I keep her outside which is super humid right now, repotted and pruned after finding pests, and she is just not having anything I do! Yellowing too

i thought majesty palm but you’re likely right since it’s not as tall!

I’m no expert but it looks like it could be scale. I would try treating it again with some diluted isopropyl alcohol. Best of luck.

They are bugs/pests yep. The adults don’t move, they attach to the plant stems/petioles. Alcohol on a q-tip is a good way to kill them. They can leave a sap syrup residue on the plant. Again, I’m no expert but take a closer look at the underside of the leaves.
