so my little celosias are not doing great. when we water them in the morning they perk up a little bit then throughout the day they start to really droop. i live in nevada. and about this time of year it’s cold at night but hot during the day. i’m assuming they don’t like the cold. any suggestions? or do these guys just not live during the cold months?

I don’t know about this plant but I have a coleus that does the same thing perks up in afternoon and looks limp in the morning. It hasn’t died and is growing nicely so perhaps this is the way with some plants

To add I thought there was something wrong with one of my banana plants bc the leaves kept drooping and it turns out turned out that is a mechanism for banana plants to regulate sunlight. They droop for less sun surface area bc it’s too hot but then they open up later when less sun or stay open fully in less sunny days. Perhaps something similar
