Hi Everyone! So I transferred my Alocasia Jacklyn to leca last week and it’s very sad. One of the leaves is so droopy it won’t stand on its own. And another one is getting more yellow 😭 Any advice?

Just give it bright indirect light, it’s adjusting to the transfer. It may loose all its leaves but they will grow back, alocasias require lots of patience

What’s your LECA process? Like are you using LECA straight out of the bag? What’s the water/nutrient situation?

I washed and soaked the LECA for 2 days. I then used a hydroponic fertilizer. I’ve been misting ever day. Is this normal for transition period?

When you take a plant from soil to leca the roots have to adjust. Some plants can take a couple of months to adjust. It might be a hassle, but I’d check the roots out of paranoia for rot. It’s an easy mistake to make when switching to leca
