Spider mites galore! Please help i’m begging 😍😭😭 Quite literally my entire collection of plants (50+) is infested with spider mites at varying levels and I just found out today. I’ve been having a very busy few weeks and the only thing i’ve been barely keeping up with is watering. i went to go water my plants today and found the mites covering multiple of my ivy plants, my huge elephant ear, my calathea rescue and spreading onto countless others. the idea that my entire collection of over 4 years of care and hundreds of dollars could die and be wasted and this is haunting me right now and i can’t think straight. Is there anything you guys could recommend? I sprayed everything with general insecticide for the night and my mom is helping me take everything out of my room tomorrow because it’s too late tonight to worry. Literally anything and anything helps. (sorry for any grammar or spelling errors)

After spraying them down, try beneficial mites :)

Spider mites can become resistant to insecticides and some make them even worse

I agree with Anya. Beneficial mites are a game changer for spider mite infestations. I’m currently fighting red spider mites (which are harder to get rid of 🤷🏻‍♀️) and the beneficial mites are the ONLY thing that has worked.

      I’ve used Nature’s Good Guys.

I did a lot of washing my leaves with Castile soap almost every other day. I’ve heard misting helps but I am so sorry.

Ladybugs are a beneficial insect that eats spider mites as well.
