The leaves on my umbrella tree have been turning completely black and whole umbrellas falling off. This was 2 months ago, the plant now has only 1 or 2 leaves left. I don’t know what happened to her, I tried to do some research and it said some kind of bacterial infection so I cut off the infected leaves and sprayed her with diluted peroxide and in the soil. Is there any way to revive her? Should I snip branches off and hope for regrowth? Any thoughts to what happened?

Likely root rot. Take the plant out of the pot, gently separate the roots from the soil. Gently wash roots. Identify any brown or black roots and cut them away. Do not reuse the soil. Make sure to add something like perlite to your new soil. Maybe 20% perlite or so, this will help the soil from staying wet too long. Sorry I don’t know about propagating umbrella trees but I usually ask ChatGPT my gardening questions. Just don’t ask it to make a complete list of Calatheas that were reclassified as Goeppertias.. then it all the sudden gets real lazy
