Hey everybody Had my white princess (philodendron) for about a month. The white leaves have started to brown/curl. I’ve heard this is normal but unsure what to do with them. Do I just let them die? Do I cut them off? Or am I doing something wrong? Advice much appreciated. She is one of my favourites!

It’s completely normal as there isn’t any green there to help with photosynthesis. you can trim those pieces off if they bother you but you don’t have to. It looks like it gets decent light form the pic but not sure that’s where you normally have it but variegated plants often need a bit more indirect sunlight that the non kind. Extra humidity can help but nothing will keep it 100% from turning brown, as there’s no chlorophyll in those parts of the leaves.

a silica supplement such as diatomaceous earth may help reduce the browning/death of the white leaves
