Bird of paradise wasn’t looking too hot so i decided to have a look inside the pot. Y’all what is this?? Is the white stuff mold?? I repotted her in a larger container after cleaning the roots completely. Is there anything else I should do or trust that I did enough? Also what are more reputable plant shops because I just got this sucker from sam’s club lol.
Did you clean the roots with hydrogen peroxide? Looks like mold

This is a bit random but it works 😂 use cinnamon it’s a natural fungicide, it stops and helps prevent mold growing. I usually just sprinkle it over the top of the soil but you could try adding some into the soil mix
3 J'aime How much do you add? Do you measure it or just plop in down in there
0 J'aime Honestly I just plop it down, I just make sure it’s all covered or if there’s a specific area that has mold i focus a little more there
