Hi! I’ve had this polka dot plant for about a year and it’s always been pretty unhappy. I’ve changed the watering schedule a lot but that hasn’t really had an impact. Right now it’s watered every 10 days or so. It’s next to a west facing window so it gets direct sun for a few hours everyday. That part that gets the most seems to be the happiest. Could it be a light problem? I plan on repotting soon to see if that helps!

It looks like a root rot problem does the pot have drainage? The yellowing leaves make me think overwatered and brown leaves make me think dehydrated so it’s possible it’s holding too much water. If there is no drainage I would suggest removing All the soil and replacing it with new dry soil and adding in drainage holes to the pot. Possibly repot it but the size of the pot seems fine to me!

Maybe, do you remember what kind of soil it is? It could also be the pot is too small for the root ball. Try to investigate and see if it seems cramped!! I have a small polka dot and it’s in a pretty deep pot

I believe the soil is just all purpose soil mix. When I repot it this weekend I’ll see what the roots are like and hopefully find a pot with some more room!

Yes! Repotting may be the solution there. If that doesn’t help make sure it’s not scorching. And remember it might go into a bit of shock being repotted but these are hardy plants :) good luck!!
