I was recently gifted this propagated snake plant, and it was given to me with the top like this. It doesn’t seem mushy, but I’m not sure what to do to fix this or if it means there’s other issues.

It may be sunburn! Nothing you can really do to fix it but the rest of it looks strong!

You could trim the leaf, but the edges may brown then. It’s up to you and your personal/ aesthetic preference!

      Would you recommend trimming it?

It’s really up to you! Personally I think it kind of looks cool like a battle scar lol. Also wouldn’t want the rest of the leaf to suffer by any chance, so I might keep it and if it keeps doing really good and getting stronger then maybe consider it!

You’ll also want to make sure the pot had drainage.

I have a rescued snake plant as well that has some similar battle scars. The regrowth since i have gotten it has doubled so i have left the yellow tip as i don’t want to impede any further progress
