Is there just one? With my horrid experience with mealys, where there’s one there’s many, or at least a few. This also looks pretty round and raised, the mealys looked more flat and fuzzy to me

Use a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to dab it and see if it drops off and has legs.

Probably not a mealy bug. They run in packs and spread within days. Just isolate the plant and see if more arrive in the next day or two. Start neem oil treatment, then. No need to put unnecessary chemicals on the orchid if it’s not necessary.

Did it turn orange/ brown when you used the rubbing alcohol?

Because I had one on my corn plant, I am super suspicious about all my plants now. Whatever is white on my plants make me nervous. I used neem oil, water and soap and alcohol on all my plants🙄

I easily separated it and rubbed alcohol on my plant. I didn’t use alcohol only on that spot

That’s a lot of chemicals 😃 Don’t add more. Just wait a week and watch new issues. Good luck.🪴🍀
