HELP!! My ficus has been like this and I think getting worse since I have gotten it a few weeks ago. What is this and what do I do?

    i had an issue like this with ours and it was too close to the sun & i was for sure over watering it, it’s much happier with drier soil 🥰

      Thank you!!! I actually just moved it to the far side of a fully lit room last week so fingers crossed!!

    Just watch for new browning! The old won’t go away, but as long as there is no new brown then it’s healthy!

    so it looks like the leaves are being scorched - this plant loves bright direct light but sometimes it’s too hot. the biggest key here is make sure you water it in the evening - water that sits on those leaves when she’s in the sun will almost kinda boil and cook the leaves.

      Okay so I have it in a south facing room with lots of light but it’s all the way on the other end of the room so I’d say a good 10 feet from the window. It was near the window before. Should I move it to an entirely different room?

      i think this should be okay! ours is in a room with patio doors each end and is in the middle of the room and has been okay since out of the window <3
