Just noticed these horizontal markings on my spider plant for the first time; I’m hoping that it’s fine but has anyone seen something like this before? 😬 feels like I’m looking at veins or something lol it’s creeping me out a bit

it looks a bit chlorotic to me. this could be due to alkaline soil or a nutrient deficiency, have you fertilized recently?
3件のいいねI did fertilize 6 days ago 😮
0件のいいねDo you think systemic insecticide could have caused that? I did add some to the soil not too long ago, I wonder if maybe I added too much

it’s very possible. chlorosis is basically when a plant can’t get what it needs, so the chlorophyll dies off. there are lots of potential causes, like waterlogged soil or root damage
いいね 1件Good to know, I’ve never heard of chlorosis before! I’ll be sure to give the plant some extra TLC 🫡 thanks!
