My Purple Passion; got as a gift still trying to figure out how to care for it. Moved to my apartment that only really has big south facing windows. It started wilting sitting indirectly 5 feet away. I moved it back to about 9 feet assuming the sun did it and it just keeps wilting. I tried watering early (once), I tried setting up a humidifier nearby and recently I put it in my bedroom with tied curtains hoping to give it the part-sun it needs. Any additional advice would be helpful!

looks to me like it’s suffering from low humidity. it’s definitely not a plant you want to mist because of the velvet leaves but it’s still a plant that requires high humidity, which can be tricky. i would try moving it into a bathroom if yours has windows or investing in a humidifier

Just curious but why shouldn’t you mist a plant with velvety leaves?

The small purple feelers will hold the water and that could lead to rot
