Happy Saturday everyone does anyone know what this would be and if it is bad I’m watering my plants this morning and I’m guessing it ended up coming out of one of my plants

I believe it is a centipede/millipede (can’t remember which one it technically is and am too lazy to google this morning). They typically feed on decaying matter. People are in two separate camps on them. Some feel like they are an indicator of healthy soil and leave them alone. Others are concerned that after the decaying matter is gone, the invertebrates will begin devouring healthy pant tissue. I am in the healthy soil group. Unless you have a ton of them in a single pot, there should be enough delicious dead plant matter for everyone! But honestly, I think it comes down to personal preference as it can be unsettling.

Centipedes are have flat bodies, and millipedes have rounder bodies. That’s the biggest difference. Hard to tell what this one is from far away, but it’s adorable :)

Oh, also centipedes have one pair of legs per body segment, and millipedes have two pairs per segment.
