Would you be able to tell me the care that you’re providing now? Lighting, humidity, watering, etc

I just water when the app tells me to lol

I recommend using distilled water or rainwater if you aren’t already. Indirect light should be fine. I find that the app tells me to overwater so maybe you can try snoozing the water reminder for 2 days and then water!

Unless the window is a southern or western window with no sheer curtain - that could be a bit too much light

My window is southern but we face a literal forest so it’s not always thaaaat bright but that was a factor in my placing it far from the window

Yellowing is usually do to overwatering. Any yellow or crispy leaves are dead and will not come back, so you can chop those off. I recommend watching a few care videos for this plant on YouTube! You can figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it there

I’ll look into it more!!! I’m just so panicked that it’ll die in like five seconds

this does look a bit over watered to me and it would make sense if you’re watering when the app says to. i usually skip it at least once. they’re surprisingly tough so as long as you let it dry out a fair bit more it’ll probably be fine, if you notice it continuing to decline the roots could be rotting. i wait until the new leaves on mine stop unfurling to water, by then the top 1/2” to inch of soil is dry

no problem! good luck rehabbing, i find that as long as you catch a plant problem before all the leaves and roots are gone, there’s still a chance they’ll come back. and more healthy leaves = greater chance of success. keep a close eye on it to watch for rot though
