Hi, everyone! I treated my desert rose with neem oil two or three days ago because it was near another plant that has thrips. It was looking healthy, but I thought it would be best because of its proximity to the sick plant. Now it looks dreadful! The leaves are pocked and totally dry in some places. Was the solution too strong? Is this a coincidence? What can I do? Thank you for any advice! JLP

Well the pic of the back of the leaf definitely looks like thrips damage. Did you have the plant in the sun right after you sprayed it?

Yes, I did. I take it that was not good?

pools or droplets of liquid basically act like a magnifying glass, concentrating the sunlight and burning the leaves

If you treat a plant with neem oil you need to keep it out of direct sunlight for a few days.
