I accidentally over watered my peace Lilly and I did everything I was supposed to but it still looks really sad and there where a whole bunch of yellow dead leave. Will she come back 😢

    Put tampax in the soil.

      I repotted it and dried out some of the roots and I haven’t watered it in about 2-3 days since I repotted it

    Does the pot have drainage? Peace lilies from what I know love water but standing water in the bottom will def cause root rot. Did the roots look healthy?

      Some of the roots didn’t look healthy so I cut the ones that where really bad. And let it dry out in a paper towel and put it In new Soil and in a new pot that has a lot more drainage

      I’d just monitor it now, it sounds like it was probably root rot. Just keep up a good watering schedule, let the first couple inches dry up completely before watering, and it should hopefully spring back. :) mine has grown a lot since getting it out of standing water.

    My photo is of the same plant that got caught in a BAD storm😢so I’m praying and crossing my fingers for the both of ours. Please post an update bc I’m so worried about mine. Does anyone know if misting hurts it? Mine did a complete turn around after I misted it one day.
