Okay hear me out…. I have a snake plant that was in the same condition. Splitting leaves, holes in some, just NOT doing well. Tried repotting and found some rot. I put it in a vase with some water and it’s improving DRAMATICALLY. Now I have two snake plants growing very happily in water :) I’ll drop some pics!

You can move it to water. Ensure all the rotten roots are gone and the plant is treated with hydrogen peroxide. It may be a little stressed. But, it will eventually start growing new roots.

I’ve saved a bunch of plants this way- wash dirt off roots very delicately. Remove anything left that’s rotten. Place in water in sunny window.
