Skylerpots

Hey everyone! My parlor palm was gifted to me months ago by a family member in a self watering pot - (I know, I know) - I didn’t want to disturb it too quickly since it was shipped to me and in a new environment. However the soil in the self watering pot was getting white mold growing on it, and the plant just seemed sad with brown spots on the leaves, brown tipped leaves, and the stalks (stems) seem a bit browned too. SO - I just recently potted it in a pretty similar sized pot (maybe an inch bigger at most) with drainage about a week ago. She already seems a bit bigger than before so I’m hoping she’s happy. BUT, the issues with the brown spots and tips on my leaves still remains. Anyone have any ideas? I used all purpose potting soil that has perlite and chips in it and mixed it with some extra perlite for more drainage. All of my other plants are in this mixture and seem to be OK. Thoughts? I checked the plant for bugs, and found nothing. This is my first palm so I really want her to keep growing but I just dont want her to die on me!

I should also mention, when I repotted it - none of the roots seemed to have root rot thankfully. They looked healthy.

Are the brown spots getting bigger at all?

Not that ive noticed! I read it could be due to cold air from the AC..

From what I know brown spots that are from previous overwatering don’t turn back to green so it may just be leftover damage

That’s what I was thinking. Are these new brown spots or the same leaves with the same brown spots? Like did you trim off the brown spots during repot or at any point?!
