Someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong? 🥺 watered & potted 6 days ago & today because I thought the leaf was telling me I need to water again. This was a cutting someone gave me & I put it directly into soil.

Plant lady🪴Sometimes when you propagate plant cuttings in soil the third or fourth oldest leaf will die to make room and preserve energy for the new growth. I’m sure you’re not doing anything wrong.

whelfSome plants do alright straight into soil but it’s a delicate balance of watering and letting it dry out. The nodes need to be moist to grow roots.
