This is my first monstera i’ve ever had and these small brown freckles just started to appear on the leaves. Does anybody know what these are? Are they normal or maybe indicating some kind of disease or pest?

It’s most likely rust fungus, I would spray it with a fungicide and the new leaves should come in healthy.
