Very good chance itās hard tap water. It looks like you only got it a couple weeks ago, so give it distilled/filtered water from the top to flush the soil. But also keep it in quarantine for a few weeks to make sure you didnāt miss any pests
1 mi piaceYes I just got it and whenever I got it it had a yellow color to it and it just got worse. I repotted the other day and itās not gotten worse or better since then. Also, Whatās the best form of filtered water?or what do u suggest? Iāve been thinking about getting a Brita but idk if thatās as good as bottled water.

So big things like coming home and being repotted are really stressful for the plants, so itās okay to expect that itāll be upset. Damaged leaves will usually stay damaged so youāll see the improvement in the new growth in a month or two when it gets used to its new home. As for the water, I use a Brita filter and let it set out for a day or so to let the chlorine burn off; some people swear by distilled but Iām too cheap for that and the plants donāt seem to care
2 Mi piaceGreat thank you so much for that! Im glad I havenāt been doing anything wrong other than the water. Iāve been nervous about switching to Brita but with about 4-5 plants I have preferring distilled, i probably need to look into one now because I am also too cheap lolš
