the left is now vs when i got my monstera. i think the leaves are droopy but that may just be me being worried. does anything look off? I added nutrients to the water because it was happening but it hasn't done much. not sure what is going on

should I be misting my plants leaves? if so how often?
1 mi piaceHonestly misting isn’t that good for plants if you really want to raise the humidity add a humidifier. They work wonders

I don’t think you need to mist her maybe make sure her water is changed more often clean the glass it’s in with dish soap it will not hurt your plant just get it clean and you can even clean the roots with hydrogen peroxide if they have any stuff growing on the roots good luck she’s so beautiful 😍

Thank you! The water is a little bit dirty but I changed it about a few days ago so maybe I just need to more often while she's getting adjusted! Do you think she's getting enough nutrients?

I believe that it is by the water, shocking it too much with nutrients or fertilizers every water could be harmful and cause it to die, once a month you could add fertilizer or nutrients in the water and it should get a boost from it but it’s doing it’s thang you’re doing great! I’d just wash the glass every time you change the water and fill that cup up they will literally just take the water they need! That’s why I love water props and water plants 😍

Looking at the picture again it could also be trying to spread out its leaves to have more view of the sun being more open too? The plant leaves will turn and face the sun, the cuts in the leaves are for sun to get through and since it’s not fully slit yet it could just be making more room for herself to grow up after growing out

Maybe it need a bit more light and better water conditions. When a whole plant wilts it’s typically water/ humidity related.

I would do a bit of experimentation and research. One of my things I do for my plants is I have a running spreadsheet in my notes, where I jot down basic information. Which helps a ton with plants it can help you find out which need a bit more of a watchful eye and which ones can handle a bit of abuse and neglect. You’d be surprised how much a plant can handle. Another thing is it’s really cool to see what plants have in common I’ve found some tropical plants that can basically exist without needing a greenhouse’s and they can live with my temperate plants as well. You’d be amazed how plants can exist with each other.

Also for water props some do not like when the whole node is submerged, I have an adasonii that I keep right under the node and she seems to love it. I also use some water from a fish tank (plants love natural fertilizer) and that seems to do her some good as well she rewards me with water droplets almost on the daily and have even seen two new leaves from her.
