To combat fungus gnats - let the plant dry out half to three quarters of the way before watering thoroughly. Sticky traps are good for adult gnats, and you can use systemic granules in the soil to keep new ones from hatching. Mostly keeping the soil aerated and not soaked will help the most. Brown tips could be maybe not enough humidity or it’s unhappy with your tap water if that’s what you give it. You could always use rainwater or distilled, and mist the leaves to give a bit of humidity.

I’ve had fungus gnats for months and only just found a way to get rid of them! I didn’t water them frequently but several of my plants suffered for it so I bought like 3 products before finally getting mosquito bits which has finally killed them! Not easily found in UK, but you can get them on Amazon, bit expensive but pack will last you ages. So get the mosquito bits and dilute them with water for minimum 30 mins, then every time you water your plants water it with that. Get the yellow sticky traps for the adults, but the water will help kill the rest! Keep doing this until you notice the yellow traps won’t fill up anymore - this will take a min of 5 weeks as that’s their lifespan :)
