Please help! i’ve had this pilea for a couple months now and it was doing great until about a month ago it started going downhill. It’s turning yellower by the week and now i noticed today it has these leaves, it had one awhile back but i didn’t think anything of it now it’s a whole bunch! 😭 Also it gets good sunlight, i follow the care routine, it also has two growing babies. Any thoughts? Thanks!

This plant needs a lot of fertilizing. More than what might seem normal. I’d give it some every couple weeks. Maybe a repotting as well

Usually when I have babies I put them in their own pots just so they have room. I’ve only just gotten a plant like this and it seems to be a fast grower. The spawn I repotted this May will need a new pot soon. I usually fertilize with leftover coffee every couple/few weeks. The one I have at work (I work at a wastewater treatment plant) I use our secondary basin water (diluted) so as not to stun it with too many nutrients. Ours at work I just repotted again (it was repotted in May). They both get new leaves every couple days so they’re pretty happy! You see the shiny leaf on the left by the yellowing one is new. The yellowing one is new on the left. Could be stress from repotting but probably needs more nutrients. I think it’s been about a month. Once you learn what they’re telling you you’ll get it. Plants are hardy. They will survive! They’re like babies. Food sleep diaper attention. Nutrients? Sun? Water? Bigger pot? That’s about it! (I don’t keep mine outdoors anymore so I don’t have pests).

These are drama plants for sure. I’d start off with better light and better watering. Try watering through and letting dry for an hour. In my experience with this plant that’s my major culprit.
