Just found out some of my plants in my bedroom have spider mites on top of fungus gnats. I sprayed down all the leaves, stems, and soil with neem oil because that’s all I have. Anything else I should do?

i would look up some home remedies too, neem oil doesn’t always work. if i remember, there is a mix of dawn dish soap and water you can use to help clean off the mites from the foliage

For fungus gnats, I covered the tops of all my pots with sand and bottom watered only for several months. It took FOREVER for them all to die but the sand seemed to help a lot! Also sprayed with Neem oil every week religiously

The bottle I used said to do it biweekly so I’m going to go by the bottle but still definitely use religiously. I’ve set up a reminder on my phone so I don’t forget
2 Me gustaIf the plants are not super delicate, I suggest rinsing the leaves off with a hose everyday until they’re gone

I sadly don’t have a hose ;-; I live in a dorm

0 Me gustaGet captain jack’s dead bug brew, it works on spider mites. Neem oil is pretty much useless against them. Fungus gnats are just an annoyance, they won’t hurt your plants but spider mites will kill them if you don’t start treating them immediately and they’re hard to get rid of
