I rescued this plant a while ago, It’s gotten much better from before but there are still some brown bits on the leaves, is there anything I can do to help it more?

I don’t know about this kind of plant, but in general it takes some time. Just keep it happy and in time it will outgrow those old spots with scars.

Calatheas are just pretty fussy plants. As long as the newer growth is looking good, it should be okay. If there isn’t any new growth yet, as long as it isn’t spreading to multiple leaves, it’s likely just some damage. Sorry for the wordy comment.

Distilled water, watering on time, and the right lighting. Think about how the light is when you’re sitting under a tree and it’s sunny out. That’s the sort of light level it should be getting. You could acclimate it to more, but that’s how mine have done well. Also beware of heat-waves.
