    what do you think is wrong? from first glance it looks pretty healthy.

      It put out 10 long offsets which I recently chopped off to propogate and one of the chicks died immediately and now it has this strange tall stem coming up out of the middle it almost feels like a death bloom with no flower

      A large portion of the bottom of the main one is dead as well

      i had one of my succulents do that. be sure to check me in this but i think it means it’s looking for the sun? it does look pretty ominous though. maybe if it makes you uncomfortable you can chop it off and grow another one from it

      I feel like if it was looking for sun it wouldn’t have such a dramatic long protrusion from only one chick. Plus it’s in a south facing window where the rest of my cacti are happy. I guess I’ll know for sure soon enough if it’s dying or not haha
