just repotted this rubber plant after rescuing from home depot. I also fertilized & sprayed with pesticide. noticed this stuff growing on the topsoil and I’m wondering what it could be? looks a bit different from powdery mildew. any tips on how to get rid of it? I tried dr planta but it didn’t give me a helpful response.

It looks like mold. Just change the soil, and wash or rinse the pot it’s in. From overwatering + lack of air circulation.

I added this fertilizer stuff on top and I think it’s growing from that. never tried it before but it smelled pretty potent… 💀

I have this organic sprinkle fertilizer that says mold growth is normal and will go away but if you don’t like it you can scoop it out. Maybe could be that

👋 I would suggest to cut it out and sprinkle some cinnamon. ☺️

Mix hydrogen 3% and water in a spray bottle and spray the top of the soil ! I do after I water, I do roughly 1:4 (not an exact science) but look into it it works for me
