my spider plant has been yellowing & having droopy leaves. it’s frustrating because i’ve pretty much left it alone until now i’ve decided to repot it & trim some of the decaying leaves off. any advice on how to help my spider plant with the bending leaves?

I’m also having this problem after my cat ripped mine out of its pot and I had to replant it and put it up where he can’t eat it lol following!

I repotted it since the soil is somewhat wet still? the yellowing might be from too much water/not enough drainage so maybe this’ll help… It’s using a grow light too so maybe less light to stop the browning?

I use a cactus mix with perlite and rain water on mine (or distilled) she is a spoiled brat but so adorable when she is doing well! If you already repotted her then use different water next time.

Okay cool! I’ll start collecting rain water & hopefully she will recover. & i’ll also change the soil to a better draining one like you said cactus or perlite. Are spider plants in the cactus family? or it’s just a better soil?

Sone do better with cactus soil because it's better draining... Im in S Flo rosary so I can never find the premixed soil for tropical plants which is what these love. The cactus mix works. Sone of these plants love water but don't want to be in wet soil

Sometimes when you re-pot a spider plant they can get worried or frustrated and can get yellow sometimes
