Hi guys! My name is Lio! Am new to this group :) I have a problem guys so my plant has mealybugs.Sheā€™s a bonsai by the way. I have no IDEA how they got on her or how to get them off Iā€™ve tried everything possible sheā€™s not as infested as she was before but any recommendations on what else to do? ā€¢Iā€™ve repotted her and got her brand new soil ā€¢I got Neem Oil Spray for Plants Pest Organic Disease Control ā€¢ Iā€™ve tried the Q tip method ā€¢Iā€™ve tried every method.. they keep coming back ā€¢Iā€™ve quarantine her from the other plants ā€¢ I wipe her off with the oil every day everytime I see one of the bugs appear in a new spot I just donā€™t want my plant to diešŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø am so attach to her already she was my birthday gift this year along with another 2 plants and theyā€™ve been the first plants Iā€™ve ever owned please help me !!!

    Hey Lio! I would go in with a qtip and alcohol & clean all the branches. If your plant is dry I would recommend doing a insecticidal soap spray down and then a good watering shower.

      Thank you!! Iā€™ve done the q tile and alcohol but they keep coming back :/

    Oh noo!!! Usually if that does happen to one of my babies and they keep coming back. Iā€™d wait till sheā€™s dry, go crazy with some insecticide. Give it about 5-10min and a good water shower should do the trick. When she done soaking up, throw some cinnamon powder. Hopefully them nasty mf donā€™t come back, or they should start paying rent. šŸ˜¹
