I have tried and liked 5 pieces of advice Iâve gotten from Planta community. (The second two arenât at the same time. Started with second and moved to third.) 1: sticky traps (got the post and tapes vsn) 2: 4 parts water to 1 part hydrogen peroxide (mixed in mason jar for batch big enough for just one day of watering since hp turns to water after a bit) 3: Mosquito Bit tea. I have a squirt nozzle water bottle that I make the tea in. Reserved just for these bits. I leave lid off for bits to dry between uses so I donât worry about mold heard others talk about. 4: foliar spray for mist days (hey, why not) 4 pts water to 1 part hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide spray bottle is sold in stores, always see hydrogen peroxide in dark bottles because light sensitive and it turns to water. I try to make 1 day worth anyway) 5: bottom watering plants when I can

I canât rid myself sometimes of being very thorough
2 J'aimeOh my Gosh⊠I feel so silly. I âpremixedâ some hydrogen peroxide and water to spray for root rot but I guess it was just water I was spraying đ

I donât think thatâs silly. It took forever for me to figure it out. Finally it clicked when I realized that must be why it always comes in dark bottles.
1 j'aimeI had to repot mine in better quality soil and I got way less and bottom water my plants that need moist soil

I bottom water and do a mosquito bit tea soak once a month-ish, with yellow sticky traps at the ready as soon as I spot any adults

I just kinda hope they disappear on their own đ. It worked once! I havenât seen any in a few weeks đ
